RFP Public Relations Media Consultant Services

To better support the Authority’s mission of providing safe, well managed affordable housing for low income residents of Annapolis, the Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis is seeking a qualified public relations/ media communications specialist to assess, develop and design a strategy to promote HACA’s public profile. The Consultant will have the capacity to provide strategic counsel and direction, actively share and promote HACA’s message and amplify our successes. The Firm must be able to provide strong media and PR strategic insight and message development to assist HACA with proactive campaigns and reactive approaches related to HACA’s overall mission at the national, regional, and local levels.

HACA was founded in 1937 to provide affordable housing in the City of Annapolis for families who lacked the means to purchase or rent housing at market prices. HACA’s mission is to achieve excellence by providing housing, and self-sufficiency opportunities, and by promoting customer satisfaction to enhance the quality of life for low, very-low, and moderate-income residents. The administrative office is located at 1217 Madison Street, Annapolis, MD 21403. HACA is a body corporate and politic organized under the laws of the State of Maryland. It is federally subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide decent, safe sanitary, and affordable housing to low and moderate-income families. It is regulated by the Housing Act of 1937 as amended, regulations promulgated pursuant thereto, as well as laws of the State of Maryland.

All bids must be delivered in accordance with the RFP and no later than the RFP Submissions Deadline date and time. No late bids will be accepted.
